Most management functions can be viewed as workflows. The decision-making process involves the movement of electronic files from one manager’s desktop to another, up the management hierarchy.

At each desktop on the decision ladder, the file acquires data or official noting. In many cases, this data can be quite considerable and would require intelligent statistical analysis to reach a decision or a verdict.

Cranes Analytics can use its proprietary tools, such as the Cranes Embedded Real-time Decision Support System (CERDSS), or customize tools to facilitate this decision-making process.

Data is collected real-time from various sources, trends are computed and the results are represented, often graphically, as dashboards or executive summaries.

This analytical solution also has the provision to roll up or drill down; if the CEO finds something amiss on his dashboard, he can very quickly drill down to unearth – and correct – the genesis of the problem.
