Dr. Rudra Pratap, an acknowledged expert in the areas of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), computational mechanics, and non-linear dynamics, is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
Dr. Pratap is the Chairman of Cranes Software International Ltd., heads Cranes Software's MEMS Research initiative and also plays the role of Chief Scientific Advisor. He has a B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur, an M.S. from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
Mr. Asif Khader, is a proven entrepreneur, Cranes Software's growing popularity & profitability is a robust example of his skills. Equally at ease with business and technology mechanics, Asif has led Cranes Software's metamorphosis from a marketing-led organization to a leading global player in the scientific and engineering software domain.
Asif has been instrumental in creating and enhancing Cranes Software's successful relationships with leading global organizations as well as its focus on investing in future technologies.
Today, Cranes Software has been recognized as the 'Technology Leader' by Scientific Computing and Instrumentation, USA for two consecutive years apart from being ranked by Deloitte Touche as the fastest growing technology company in 2003 & 2004.

Asif has a B.E. in computer engineering and has an additional degree in statistics.
Mr. Mukkaram Jan, one of the two founding partners of Cranes Software International Ltd. and a Director on board. Mr. Jan belongs to a leading business family in Bangalore. He is a Commerce Graduate from one of the most reputed institutions in the city.
Mr. Mueed Khader is an intrinsic part of Cranes Software's executive management team as well as a member of our Board of Directors. He plays the role of Director and is responsible for the overall strategic decision-making at Cranes Software.
Mr. Richard Gall has a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue and an MBA. He is an inveterate process man and his special assignments included Malcolm Baldridge Award initiative, design of process for concurrent engineering when at TI. He has had grounding in Six Sigma at the Motorola Institute as a TI member. He brings global marketing savvy, relationships in several Fortune 500 companies that run for decades and irrepressible process rigour to his job.
Richard Gall will see Cranes foray into the American market oversee business development in Europe and Japan. Gall is a veteran of technology industry.
He handled Product development and Program Management in TI for two decades. His tour of duty at TI included a two-year stint at TI India as its MD. He raised the 500 engineer TI Development Center ground up in Bangalore. Later he was with defense contractors Raytheon in west Asia. He has also served as Technical Director of the Parametric Technology Inc. R&D Center in Pune, India, and is a past Chairman of the Karnataka Branch of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Ronald Brown, graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree from Purdue University in 1975. In the years that followed, Ron gained broad practical experience at the 3M research center in St.Paul, Minnesota, at Eastman Kodak's film manufacturing center in Rochester, New York, and in Silicon Valley positions that included Burroughs, Dysan, and Duke Scientific.
In 1988, Ron founded AISN Software to pursue his vision for analytical software for scientists and engineers. Over the course of the years that followed, his company authored the TableCurve 2D, TableCurve 3D, PeakFit, and AutoSignal products. These were marketed for AISN first by Jandel Scientific and then by SPSS, the major statistical software company.
There are now tens of thousands of copies of Ron's products in general use. The AISN products are considered software standards for exploratory curve and surface-fitting and for modeling hidden peaks in chromatographic and spectral data. Ron has remained the visionary for these products and for new collaborative ventures as he continues to assist Systat Software, Inc in the role of Chief Software architect. Ron also continues as president of AISN, overseeing the continuing development of the AutoSignal product.
