For the fiscal ended March 2005, the company earned revenues of Rs. 163.4 crore as compared to R.s 113.7 crore, registering a healthy growth of 44% and bagging 2nd rank in the sales growth segment. It ranked # 7 in net profit growth, which stood at Rs. 46 crore, up 41% as compared to Rs. 32.6 the previous year. Cranes ranked #33 and #19 in sales and net profit, respectively. Its gross block grew 112% to Rs. 165.3 crore helping it to clinch rank #5. During the fiscal year, CSIL launched SYSTAT 11, a latest version of its integrated desktop statistics and graphics software package and signed a reseller agreement with a company in digital signal processing technologies called Lrytech Incorporated. The ROCE of Cranes was #10, which was 34.3%, up 38% from the previous fiscal.
