Cranes Software International, a global scientific and engineering software solutions provider, has registered a 74 percent increase in net profit at Rs 3.62 crore for the first quarter ended June 2003, compared with the corresponding period of last year. Net sales increased by 62 percent to Rs 13.55 crore. The margins improved by 50 percent.
