Mr. Jayaram, Principal Consultant, CSIL stressed -
It is relevant now to formalise the 'long-talked-about' industry-institution interaction themes and move ahead to get fruitful results through synergising the core strengths of the partners. It is in this direction that the present understanding is reached with CMTI .
Speaking on the occasion Mr. K.Subramanian HOD (MIT), CMTI said,
It has now become relevant and essential for applied R&D institutions to 'productise' their expertise and services and package them to suit the market needs. We are aiming at a better brand building for 'indian expertise' through such joint initiative with organisations like CSIL to harness the substantial 'in-house' acumen of CMTI in the areas of manufacturing technology. We believe that the marketing strength of CSIL and their vision of superposing marketing expertise over a strong foundation of applied technology would help in this endeavour . He hoped that many more such joint ventures with generic Indian content would populate the global market arena in the near future.
