Cranes Software's SYSTAT 11 awarded "Top Statistical Data Analysis Product" globally for the second consecutive year

Cranes Software International Ltd., a global scientific and engineering software solutions provider, today announced that SYSTAT 11, the latest version of its integrated desktop statistics and graphics software package, has won the top products award in the statistical data analysis segment for the year 2005 by the Scientific Computing & Instrumentation (SCI) Journal, US. SYSTAT was selected as one of the winners in the magazine's "Products of the Year for 2005" program on the basis of readers' response over the past year and on feedback from the Editorial Board.
According to the SCI Review: "SYSTAT is an integrated desktop software package that provides researchers with statistical, analytical and graphical capabilities, which help translate raw data into meaningful results. It includes Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithms, quality analysis features, probability distributions with associated probability calculations, random sampling and fitting distributions procedures, a regression suite and a user interface with interactive graphics features."
