The research report (DSP Strategies 2002) forecasts a heavy shortfall of DSP programming talent. Universities realize this dearth and the need to graduate DSP-literate engineers.
Cranes Software International Ltd., has an extensive presence all over the country for over a decade and well established contacts within the academic community. Texas Instruments (India) Ltd., the world leader in Analog & Digital Solutions, in an effort to promote DSP (Digital Signal Processing) in Engineering Colleges in India have tied-up with CSIL.
The partnership is towards popularizing the use of TI Tools in colleges where study of DSP is part of the syllabus and to introduce the concept where to its still to be incorporated.
In association with Texas Instruments, CSIL will set-up TI DSP labs in engineering colleges across India. The program also includes, supply of TI Tools, technical support and training to college faculty.
